Each of our log cabin vacation rentals has a journal in which our guests write
their experiences.
We've listed some of our favorite stories below!
We come every summer and this year we made more great memories!
We grilled out, drank wine as we soaked in our whirlpool tub (and did the
cork in the wall ritual!) and watched sunsets (and cows!) from our back porch.
The only problem with our stay is that it ended too soon! See you next year!

are almost as beautiful as she. Our beagle "Alice" thought the
cows were the most interesting great fire, great tub, great view, great company.

It's our 13th anniversary and we're back at our cabin. We came here
for our honey moon 13 years ago and it's just as perfect as it it was then.
It's hard to believe its been so long. I love Gary just as much, even more
than I did on our honeymoon. I can't wait to come back. I hate to leave.

We truly enjoyed our cozy and relaxing weekend in the cabin with
the snow & the
city being lit up by candles it was picture perfect.

On the approach of our 28th anniversary we were looking for somewhere to
celebrate it. Since we both enjoy historical places we settled on Galena.
One look at the website for these cabins we knew this was the place. What
a delightful weekend we have had here. We are definitely putting this on
our must return to list.

The Hilton it is not, but you can go there anytime. What a nice place the
Rawlins is, character, personality, and history. Super 8 and the Hilton doesn't
have it - be back in Spring.

This is our first time here at the cabin. Staying here was relaxing and
cozy and most enjoyable. It showed me that he has a heart of gold and really
put thought into where to take me and spoil me. I must say that I usually
am a resort and spa girl but it was so nice to just go back to basics and
just enjoy each other. this is a great place and hope we will enjoy as many
happy memories and years here as previous people in this diary have!!
P.S. our doggy sunny enjoyed it too!!

This is our second time here in this same cabin! This cabin brings back
such a great memory! It was a little past a year ago that we were here last.
last time we were here we had only been together for four months. now its
been about a year and a half. I love Jameson with all my heart and i want
to be with him forever. this place brings such a great feeling and passion
between the two of us! I want to come here every year and spend this time
with the love of my life!

This place rocks! This was our 2nd trip here and so nice to get out of the
city. Two glorious days of no work, no tv, and no hassles! We saw some eagles
yesterday somewhere around Savanna. Take 84 S to the old army depot (lost
mound?) If you are very quiet back there you might see them. The sky is so
lovely and dark at night. we are thinking about coming back during a meteor
shower or some other celestial event and to see if our champagne cork is
still in the ceiling =P

It was -2* outside when we got here. Had a little trouble getting the fire
going. I took my girlfriend of 5 months out to a romantic dining experience
at the local mcdonalds. we came back here, sat in the hot tub til 2 am, then
passed out. Very relaxing and a good time was had by all.
